ISO a roll-up board with 2 inch squares.

Yep, that's pretty standard.

Avatar of K_Any

Standard is 2.25.

Avatar of WSama

Yeah, anything less than 2.5 I round it off to 2.0. May I ask why the specifity.

In any case, considering that many pieces also come with standards as far their base dimensions go, you just might need to get a rubber or vinyl sheet printed up just for you.

They are appallingly bad. Really really bad. I would refuse to play on them in an official match. Why? You can't slide the pieces.

Look for it in mm. Its a size standard in Europe an not USA. There are a few shops in england for example that have them and will mail them to you. Generally quality is on part with the cheap vinyl boards, but not as good as the best available from us sights.

for example:

https://www.chessdirect.co.uk/acatalog/Vinyl-Chess-Board-Green-and-Cream-50mm-squares-VB200G.html#SID=2

A green 50mm vinyl board. There is also a brown one.

Here is a black and white one from a different seller in europe

Again if dead set on 2 inches search for 50mm. Another way to find it is to use "Stauton No 5" search key. Stauton 5 is FIDE 50mm standard. which is 2 inches.

If you are willing to tolerate slightly smaller than 2 inches, and prefer to get better quality and less shipping cost to USA this is a great option:

https://www.chesshouse.com/collections/club-style-chess-boards/products/17-vinyl-roll-up-chess-board  17" roll ups from chess house. I own several, amazing quality, great color options. In particular check out the grey color. The square size is 1.875, I find that these boards work well with 3.5 inch kings.
