Team Tournament in Arena

I'm bran new to Arena; and cant seem to google up the anwser to I expect a simple Question.

I'm trying to set up a Team Tournament in Areana - say

Shredder 6, 7, 8 vs

Rybka 2K, 1800, 1600 as I am trying to get a fell for the relative Elo's for the Stockfish Engine, and dont want to have to run all the spam games of a Round Robin?

Can this be done? any ideas. Your help most appreciated. BB

I've been wrong before about Arena, but I don't believe the type of tournament you describe is possible.

Edit: There is at least one GUI that can do team tournaments.  It's called ChessGUI, and it's not as easy to use as Arena, IMO.  You can get it here ---->> ChessGUI

I've never tried to run such a tournament so I can't say how well it works.

I do agree that Arena can't do that.

I just don't understand what the OP is trying to do...Play 3 versions of Shredder against 3 strengths of Rybka to obtain some knowledge about Stockfish?

Actually Its 1 vs of Rybka vs 3 Levels of Stockfish at a time; I just hate the name so nick all my stockfish instances shredder. As far as I know Stockfish is shredders brains no?

You rename all of your Stockfish engines to Shredder? Okaaaaay...

Actually, if it's only one version of Rybka vs. three levels of some engine, and if you want the three levels of the engine to only play Rybka and not themselves, you could run a gauntlet tournament in Arena. Just make sure you add the Rybka engine first, then add the other engines, then tick the "Gauntlet" box.
