@obed513, are you maybe thinking of one of these?

This is a shot in the dark, and I'm not sure if it has already been asked. I remember back in 2015-2016, before the plastic set became available, the Ultimate Chess set was available on the website in wood finish. Is there a small chance that they would become available in the future as a limited edition collectible set? There is a similar set available on Chesshouse.com, but I'm not sure if it is an official design. I know that I should have ordered them on amchesseq.com back when I had the chance.

Obed,

We never made a Ultimate in a wood finish. We made them in real wood. You can get those on American Chess Equipment right now if you want

The only time I have ever seen any marketing whatsoever for chessforblitz is in this thread. If the set is so great, why not create its own discussion thread, rather than just coming in here saying why such and such a set is better than the Ultimate? It just seems like a lazy way to market your product.

1) The multi color pieces in plastic are really not in demand. Personally, I have a Zagreb set in my tournament bag alongside my V.3 Ultimate. Selling at the tournaments most people prefer the single color set.

2) I like how you copied the yellow that so many complained about and then demanded. As they say in Breaking Bad "you are Aping my product"

3) Looks like you have gloss plastic instead of a matte plastic. Again, a more muted color is easier on the eyes.

4) Let people know the weight of your set, don't hide it in the description. Be proud of the weight. Is it 4.6 KG or 4.6lbs?

5) Be honest with your customers. This is a metal set with an epoxy cover layer. It is not a weighted plastic set. It is a metal set.

6) Get better pics for your site. The pics do not enlarge. This makes it hard to see the product.

If you would do an "Apples-to-Apples" comparison to the V.3 Ultimate I would respect your video more. You are comparing your set to the V.2 Ultimates with an archaic weighting system. It is NOTHING like the V.3 weighing system.

Also, the set you are using in the comparison is a beat up V.2 Ultimate. I know...I know...it is near impossible to find a brand new V.2 Ultimate.

The funny thing is I come here extolling the virtues of the V.3 Ultimates and I don't even work for that company anymore. I don't even get special deals when I buy the set wholesale. I pay the same wholesale price everyone else does.

And just for clarity sake...you're one of the people who developed and sell the ChessforBlitz set, right?

I’m interested in a butters set if anyone wants to sell theirs.
