Any possibility of showing a link to the other Era Retro sets? Kate was also an absolute pleasure to deal with.....Lovely gal!

For what it's worth, I mentioned to Gregor of NOJ that I was interested in the Kerrock BCE S1, but had some reservations due to never holding that material, and he sent me a prototype piece on his dime so I could get a feel for it in my hands. (Still in transit)

For a small shop, that is next level customer service that some of the big shops could learn from!

Sure, @magictwanger... here's her chess page:

And yes, I've bought several things from her. She's a sweetheart.

This is so typical of Gregor. Every time I've bought from him he has risen above whatever expectations I had... and at last count, that was 5 NOJ sets.

I agree.

Last year when I had both 7 year old Walnut Queens get a collar chip, Gregor matched the wood exactly and provided both Queen replacements for free with free shipping to me.

He also made some prototype pieces on my suggestion to make the collars thicker and got back to me showing that idea did not work in practice.

I ended up getting a brown stained Dubrovnik II at a discount for everyday play.

With my Dubrovnik Minceta set, that I use at least once a week, I own 7 Noj sets.

KnightsForkCafe

House of Chess for quality and price.

Thanks for that link! Typical Era Retro uniqueness in those offerings.

That is actually awesome.
