Puzzles for myself (F6 Bishop sacrifice
V1500Cygni I don't make the puzzles its the pack that makes them. Also the pawn got to e5 by capturing another pawn.
It is not that simple. For a black pawn to capture a white pawn, the white pawn would first have to capture something on the e file. But Black has a full set of pieces on the board. We can only assume that White first sacrificed a piece (for example, a queen) on e6 or e5 square and then the white d2 pawn was promoted to the same piece on the d8 square!
But as I see, the position has already been changed.

V1500Cygni I fixed the position so it's correct. Also, the pawn got to e5 by capturing another pawn. I am so sorry for the miscommunication. Here is the setup before the puzzle:
1. (e4,e5) 2. (kf3, d6) 3. (d4, kd7) 4. (bc4, be7) 5. (dxe5, dxe5) Then the puzzle starts on turn six, which you would move the queen to d5 etc.
This is for me to set up puzzles for myself. It is also a drill forum for anyone!
