In this Forum, I want to help you improve your chess vision so you can spot tactics earlier in a game, spot your opponents ideas and calculate to mate.
You will need a basic tactical knowledge to learn from this.
Here's how it works:
You get a normal chess position, underneath it, you will have to visualise the moves displayed. Under that, there will be the same position set up as before but with the written moves above it made, and the pieces are also hidden. You then have to try to play the best move in the second position. For a hint, move your cursor over the puzzle board to see where the pieces are. The moves may not always be realistic, but this exercise will still help anyway.
