Looking for Chess Coach

Am looking for an online coach for my almost 7-yr old son who has been playing chess for around 6 months.  He really loves it - he wakes up every morning thinking about chess and wants to play all day long.  He just started playing tournaments and has a 450 provisional rating after 12 games.  He's probably stronger than his rating as he beats me half the time, though I am also a beginner.

I'm fairly new to chess so I'm not sure exactly what to look for, but based on my experience thus far, I'm looking for someone who has experienced coaching kids and taking them to a high level, understands scholastic tournament strategy, speaks English, and is reasonably priced.  We live in New York City and many of the elementary kids we see here at tournaments seem to have great chess programs at their school and have GMs/IMs as private coaches.  My son goes to a public school with no chess program and I don't think we can afford an at-home private GM coach (?)

I don't recommend a coach for a 450 rated kid - perhaps at least 800-1000+ is when coaching should start, and probably higher.

My opinion is that such a beginner should just play to get a feel for the game more.

i can help you if you want im good with kids BUT i recommend you to search for a coach that gives personal leson to your son, an advice, the level is not that important im an 1800 but most important than that is to prepare a FUN class to your son, so if you are going to search a coach find a fun coach even if he is only 1600 doesnt matter, if its a good person a makes your son happy is best, i ve known coaches that are really high level (more than 2200) but they are not good coaches for kids, the lesson is boring and the kids get bored and never learn anything, bye and good luck

   Hello, I can help to yuor son. I can give him free lessons by chess tactics by Skype.  I can teach him 3 times in a week about 1-2 hours every lesdon.
