Maybe. Except when you leave the party?
Views on drinking and getting drunk have changed considerably since I was 18 - and that's a very good thing.
I used to live very close to the US border and on Saturday nights a group of us would travel down to a bar on the US side. The US customs officer would ask where we were going and how long we'd be there. We told him and he let us through (we were still sober).
Coming back 4 hours later was an entirely different story. We would arrive at the Canadian border and the customs official really didn't need to ask where we'd been - it was more than obvious. There wasn't anyone in the car in any condition to drive. No designated driver; I don't think the term even existed then. And he just let us through and we continued on down the highway.
I'm very fortunate to be alive today . . .
So, I'm at home, no plans to go out, and about to have an Irish Coffee. Sláinte - here's to us and being alive . . .
There are already chess sets where the pieces are shot glasses.

I saw that it was yet another variety of chess, this one encouraging binge drinking. I saw the funding had failed. I observed that there are already chess sets made from shot glasses, which sounds more fun. That's all I needed to know.
I've started a Kickstarter project called Drunk Chess! Check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/drunkchess/drunk-chess-a-funner-way-to-play-chess?ref=951v8z
Please support Drunk Chess if you like the idea! I appreciate every contribution. If you like the project but don't want to pledge at the moment, please share the link above to spread the word!
