1. e4 e5 2.Qh5
At Copenhagen Open 2009, a GM (i dont remember the name) played this against another GM and white won! It was some kind of suprise weapon. I cant find the game, but if someone have it, please link or post it!
You know you're playing a dubious opening when you have to say "Someone ACTUALLY played this in (enter year), and white ACTUALLY won!!!"
This is the basic anti-queens raid
Nice, so black ends up capturing the bishop and has better development, albeit without be able to castle.
I sometimes play this against a weaker opponent if I want a quick and decisive game. However if my opponent plays Nf6 after my initial Queen foray, then I follow the strategy given by onetwentysix rather than lose the bishop.
I almost never play this attack against players with a rating of over 1200 as it's likely they have seen it and countered it many times.
After 2.Qh5, White loses the initiative and hands Black the drivers seat after 2...Nc6.
White would do better in tricking a first year player with The King's Gambit.

Jonny Hector played 1.h4 but he's also crazy
I know this is very basic but I don't know how to play against people who open like this. I always seem to panic and never know what move to make.
At my level, there are a lot of people who open like this and I'm sure it's easy to combat but so far I have not done very well!
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks,
