10 .... Bf2 + loses and is a lemon .... 11 Kxf2 Qb6+ ?? 12 d4 ! and white is clearly winning the game (ke1 or kf1 both win for white here)
black needs to play 10 .... e4 to kick the knight to e5 before playing bc5
I considered this, but I figured that black's knight coming to g4 is no longer possible as long as the white knight remains on that e5 square. However, now that you mention the d4 move, I see where you're going. The e4 move is necessary.
I guess this is just preference in move order, but I wouldn't want to play e4 until after the bishop came to c5. Psychologically, white's realization that black's attack is mounting heavily here could lead to a bad mistake...
