Hi all. My suggestion would be to play 5...Nc6 pressuring d4 and transpose into a very interesting variation of the Chigorin where you damage white's pawn structure and play a sharp middlegame with queenside castling and N+N V B+B. Play often goes, 6.e3 (on 6.Bd2 you have to play Bc3) Bg4 7.Bd2 Bc3 8.bc3 Bf3 9.gf3 Qd6!? (this move by Morozevich is best) followed by 0-0-0,Nf6,Rhe8,g5,h5...
Best of luck!
I have a question too! I have been experimenting with a new positional sacrifice in the Albin for a couple of months now with mixed success: 1.d4 d5 2.c4 e5 3.de5 d4 4.Nf3 c5!? followed by the standard plan of Nc6, Bf5, Qd7, 0-0-0. I play it to try to slow down white's queenside play so that I have time to get my king side attack going. Also, in the traditional main lines the black bishop on c5 is usually not so active being blocked by its own pawn on d4 (it's often hard to get in the advance d3 to liberate it). Does anyone have any theory on this line? I don't believe it's new but would like to know what you all think? I have played games where white plays 5.a3 aiming for b4 where I just play 5...a5 clamping down the queen side. Then I sac the pawn on f6, play Nf6,Bd6,0-0 and try to put pressure down the central files and whip up a sac on h2.

Can you post a diagram of what your talking about. I've played the albin for some months before switching to indian defenses against d4. Maybe I could help you out.
P.S Thanks everybody for helping me out
Recently, I have switched back over to playing this openings. Lately some of the responses I've been getting or pretty rare in my book. Can anybody tell me how to counter act whites moves here. Also, heres what I play when white doesn't accept the gambit.
