the average players' stats in the line are just that. I actually stumbled into it mixing my attempted maroczy fantasies up with my french alapin diemers, but from the beginning, it just clicked with me except needing to learn to answer Nf6 declineds with Nc3.
it fits in perfectly with my open f file loving kinks gambit and can transpose with my scandinavian > gedult BDGs and french > alapin diemers. i love the simplification of similar formations for 3 different openings. it's like stonewalling whatever, but with TACTICS!
I'm losing games in a lapin diemer sidelines but am 60:40 in 15 "main line" accepteds. that's why frenchies run from any gambit they see holding their skirts p in the air.
I'm 50:40 in 1.e4 d5 2.d4!? dxe4 3.f3!? exf3 4.Nxf3 gedult gambits too.
