Which would you say are the best books on the Sveshnikov Sicilian and, for regular Sveshnikov players, how do you deal with Anti-Sicilian set-ups such as 2.c3 and the Rossolimo? All comments welcome!Smile

The best book that I read when I was playing the Sveshnikov frequently and gathering as many books as I could on the opening was Kramnik: Life and Games. In his youth, Kramnik was devoted to this opening, and he played many fine games from the diagram position.

The Easiest Sicilian seemed a helpful and worthwhile book that I would have continuted to use, but I left the Sveshie for something less theoretical.

Starting Out: Sicilian Sveshnikov is terrible, Ivanenko_Tony.

For beginners and intermediates, it gives too many variations and not enough explanations.  Also, I found it to be disorganized.
