1. e4 player but not a Fundamentalist. I have dallied with 1. b3 and 1. b4 (including the Anderssen/Creepy-Crawley/De Klerk 1. a3 and Santasiere's Folly 1. Nf3 followed by 2. b4), and for one important game against a well-prepared chap who knew my repertoire backwards I went in for 1. d4 followed by 2. Bg5. When feeling looney (or upon having consumed Boozo the Wonder Drink not wisely but too well) I have even essayed 1. g4 or 1. Nh3. Most first moves have their own charm and merit.
1. e4!!
