Well of course it would be part of a larger repertoire. For example against the catalan 7. dxc4 (open variation), against 3. Nc3 the nimzo indian and maybe a KID setup against the London. Also the anti-benoni is trash, cxd4 and black already has the initiative.
The London was originally invented as a black defence to combat the King's Indian Attack by white, so black playing the KID against the London where white has the extra move won't exactly be great for black!
Anti-Benoni is a small but quite stable edge for white, since it tends to transpose to main lines of the English Opening.

Based on his message, he's interested in 1.d4 e6 2.e4 d5 but not 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5.
The point was that he should have simply said he is not interested in e4 openings. Saying that he is interested in an e4 opening that started d4 is the part I'm claiming is a joke! Otherwise, there are very few e4-openings that cannot be reached via d4.

1.d4 e6 2.e4 - French Defense
1.d4 c6 2.e4 - Caro-Kann Defense
