I have this book but before reading it I noticed that it doesn't cover slav or queen's gambits . So can anyone recommend a good book covers all openings on 1.d4 ?

Thanks in advance

All of the following are good.

Play 1 d4! - Richard Palliser (This one is a little older, but still seems good)

A Strategic Opening Repertoire for White - John Watson (1. d4 .. 2. c4)

Two Volume "Grandmaster Repertoire 1. d4" - Boris Avrukh (based on Catalan)

Two Volume "Playing 1. d4" -Lars Schandorff  (More advanced then Watson's)

A Cunning Chess Opening Repertoire for White - Graham Burgess (this repertoire include more off the beaten path lines like Bf4 QGD and Torre Attack)

Actually, Grandmaster Repertoire covers an entire repertoire for White based on 1.d4.

Keep in mind though, it's multiple volumes.

It used to be 2 volumes.  Volume 1 covered all 1.d4 d5 including the Catalan (Catalan is used against both the Nimzo-Indian and Queen's Gambit Declined), Slav, Semi-Slav, QGA, Chigorin, etc.  Volume 2 covered everything else, like the King's Indian, Grunfeld, Benoni, Benko, Dutch, Modern, etc.

They have recently done a re-write in what is now called "Grandmaster Repertoire 1A", which I believe only covers the Catalan and when 1B comes out, the rest of 1.d4 d5 will be covered.  Don't know if they are re-writing the entire 1.d4 repertoire, or if they were only re-writing d4 d5 because of many changes in theory to the Catalan.  If they aren't, the original "Grandmaster Repertoire 2" I believe came out in 2010 or 2011.

You need the entire set to complete the repertoire, not 1 book.

U need the 2 books for this but as a 1570 here, does Avrukh's books really for u?

In my opinion, they are top level books, for titled players mostly.

Too dense for a player like u, u need more simple ideas...

If you are rated 1570, then probably Palliser or Watson would be better. Another older one you might consider is by Keene, I think it is called an opening repertoire for white
