Well, neither of them.

5.Nxf7 is actually a bad move! Black replies with 5...Qh4 and has several annoying threats. 6.Qf3?? for example is losing on the spot after 6...Nd4

5.Nxe4 is also nothing after 5...d5

Simple chess dictates to play after the king, and this is the right approach: 5.Bxf7+ Ke7 6.d3 and White is much better (6.d4 is also strong).

nxe4 is not a bad move, and dont do nxf7 much better is bxf7

Certainly better than 5.Nxf7? but still nothing to boast about.

6.Nxe4 d5 6.Bd3 de4 6.bxe4 Bd6 resembles a well-known position where Black stands very well, but there the knight is on f3 instead of b1.

sorry i was in a bit of a rush. I meant that nxe4 is not terrible for black. All moves but bxf7 are good for black.

Maybe (just maybe...) 5.Nxf7 is not as bad as I thought, and white can equalize with precise play, but obviously this is no achievement if the opponent has played 4...Nxe4?

Ayway, not that important, since 5.Bxf7+ is virtually winning.
