Hanging pawns covers this sideline in his video on YouTube. he doesn't go into a lot of middle game ideas though. As white, you will only play this if black choose to.
Is this a dubious sideline in the Scandinavian Defense (Main Line)?

Black's basic idea in this line is " Black can win a pawn in the opening, so I must be better. white has to prove that black is not."

Thanks for letting me know about it. I just looked through his introductory video on the Scandinavian and skipped the main line videos in favor of games database and openings books.
I was going through the main line theory of the Scandinavian Defense where I happened to stumble across this interesting sideline. The engine gives it a +1.8 for white. Is this a comfortable position (if not winning) for white? And can black create any sort of a counter play in this position?
P.S: I am not a fan of the Scandinavian Defense and for that reason, I am looking for white's plans in each and every sideline possible so that I am not surprised in these dubious positions.
