Ridiculous, engines make moves humans cant see... theirs nothing in my book or my noting on the push to d6 because humans cant see moves like that at all!! I only noted standard opening protocols which are no more than 12 moves perline... ANYTHING beyond that in kings gammit is fakery, and thats y the 300 middlegame exercises in my book.! which isnt published yet.

Really nice comparison as for who can see what and who can see more - engines or humans ... There is one more thing - understanding of positions

understanding positions = middlegame magic and endgame mastery. do u really believe that I studied only 1 opening and thats it?? If thats what u believe..

No thought at all came to my mind about how many openings you studied ...

its not about openings.. anybody can specialize in a particular line of play using opening principles learned by a good source. yes it takes forever and a day to do, but theirs nothing wrong with having an advantage over the board , in my brain Accepting the kings gambit is the only opening I know full and well. ive also THOUROUGHLY read CHESS lazlo polgar, WORLD CHAMPION OPENINGS eric schiller, UNORTHDOX CHESS OPENINGS , 303 TRICKY TACTICS ,larry evans ENDGAMEQUIZ, 1ST CHESSBOOK, ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CHESSWISDOM , REASESS YOUR CHESS , LIFE AND GAMES OF PETROSIAN , SOVIET SCHOOL OF CHESS , LIFE AND GAMES OF TAL , LIFE AND GAMES OF MORPHY , THE AMERICAN CHESSPLAYERS HANDBOOK , LASKERS CHESSMAGAZINE VOLUME 2 , LIFE AND GAMES OF SPASSKY , THE IRISH INVENTED CHESS , CHESSFUNDAMENTALS capablanca , THE ART OF CHECKMATE , PANDOLFINIS ENDGAME , 200 CAPTUREMATES , THE TAO OF THE CHESSBOARD , 5 CROWNS ( chessfakery at its best ) , SECRETS OF PAWN ENDINGS , RECOGNIZING YOUR OPPONENTS RESOURCES , PAWNPOWER angus dunnington , VANPERLOS ENDGAME (yellowbook) , THE ART OF THE ENDGAME jan timman ,MY SYSTEM , PAWN STRUCTURE CHESS , THINK LIKE A GRANDMASTER , and a couple other books i cant recall the titles. So I conclude that Ill do just fine after the opening... especially accepting the kings gambit!! in fact take those books and put them in a stack, read that stack throughly and study one particular opening for 2 years and compile the notes into your brain through repetition . Youll also need the engine thats the most compatible with the particular opening you wanna learn and take notes on...!! in my case standard rybka was used.... Goodluck and godspeed.

My only win ever against an IM was on the black side of the KGA. I used Fischer's "Refutation" (which came after he lost to Spassky). In his typically-Imperial style, Fischer ended with, "Of course white can play differently, but he'll only lose differently."

The exact reason I hate studying openings , takes wayyyyyyy too long . just play , go with the flow. ive only studied that 1 opening , the other openings ive read, played , and put standard analysis on.. Studying a particular opening in the advanced stages , to the point that you basicly know the correct move order is a differint ballpark ! takes years , i refuse to study the sicilian like that cause itd take too long , other people do,have and can. This is exactly why its better to be high rated before studying openings , because each one is unique and has their own order of winning correct moves...

e4 e5 , f4 exf4 , Nf3 g5 , Nc3 g4! , Ne5 Nc6 , Nxg4 Qh4 check!! Now whites forced to play passively , and black MUST use their attacking resources , and no matter what white does I have all the resources to equalize! kings gambit absolutely refuted, name lines that win for white in this position = none of them do , whites forced to play passively and wait for black to bluder. Blacks darksquare bishop , and rook have open files once i move my g square knight on resourceful squares !!
Amplebeee
blocks the check with the knight = bishop C5 threatening mate. How to win with white in this position ?? I wonder if pfren has the solution?? Because ive memorized all the refutations and blacks theoretically winning here.

Yes, White reaches the middlegame with one pawn down and in the final he manages to draw.

This line is covered in John Shaw's book.

Your line:

1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.Nf3 g5 4.Nc3 g4 5.Ne5 Nc6 6.Nxg4 Qh4+

Continuation:

7.Nf2 Bc5 8.d4! Bxd4 (Nxd4 b4/Na4 +=) 9.Qf3

The position is roughly equal though there are chances for both sides.

Be5 allows Ne2 and white still can win the pawn back. Nb4 is met with Bd3.

Refuted? Nope. Does 5...Nc6 equalize with correct play? Yes.

all I know is I love playing King's gambit as black because I usually win at my level....I'm used to it because every third player seems to use that opening on this site....

Amplebeee

after knight e2 I have knight e7 , not knight b4??

blacks resourceful knight needs to be at play with a solid line.

After 8...Bxd4 9.Qf3:

Allow me to quote John Shaw's book:

9...Nb4!?

Petr pointed out that 9...Be5 is well met with 10.Ne2 +=

10.Bd3 d6 11.Ne2 Bb6 12.Nxf4 Ne7 =

The chances are balanced and the result would be decided later in the game.

And "littlefish"beta , says d6 is the best choice for black ,  after Ne2 , my idea for Ne7 is to keep attacking your weak backrank..

Too bad im a human and couldnt see the better continuation.

Im definitely gonna keep these notes.

Go ahead, but according to GM Martin Petr, white has a slight advantage after 9...Be5 10.Ne2.

Amplebeee

I think we have the keys for improvement of the kings gambit.

Amplebeee

d6 is by far the best move after Ne2 , according to the machine.

Ne2  looked unclear to me , so I played the natural knight e7 as a resourceful novelty.

1.e4 e5 2.f4 ef 3.Nf3 g5 - I play only 4.h4 here, having no problems

Amplebeee

after your h4 , i move to g4 like i want anyways ,,, whats your next move ??
