Ugh!?, these Openings are terrible!

After 3 games against HorribleTomato, I had defeated him twice and lost to him once, as black. It has been established that I am the superior, and so any of his criticism is invalid. Thanks.

does that matter? it shows is that i have a greater knowledge of the opening than you, which is what is being discussed here

That's the Scotch Game. Hardly new. 7. c4 takes care of that.

If it was so much better, then how did I manage to obtain equality as black? Clearly I know how to play the opening, which is much more importantly than simply following computer move orders.

1.d4 nc6 2.d5 nb8 is sound.  more so than the so called brooklyn alekhine with 1.e4 nf6 2.e5 ng8. 2...rb8 makes NO sense though

My apologies HT. I only read the bottom part where I thought you were saying it was a new opening. My bad for not paying enough attention.

I appreciate his creativity, I hate main lines as well, but I know when an idea is good... or bad.
