There is a formation known as the beginner's game which is ...g6...Bg7...e6...Ne7...d6...Nd7...b6...Bb7 see diagram
. I think an improvement on the Beginner's Game would be ...a6...b7-b5 and then ...Bb7. This is often seen in the Robatsch Defence.My system
