By "nothing" I think you really mean you have nothing prepared against the Jobava. Why would you bother studying nothing? My money is on white.
On matters such as these I trust the stats more than I do people prognosticating. White is about +6% in the Jobava...
White is even better in the Veresov but you must be willing to play a few dubious positions to go that route.

With 1. ... e5 black actually justifies whites move, but for example 1. ... d5 and white has nothing.
