I play the London system as White. This opening is solid but not too exciting. I like playing it.
What would be a "solid" but not too exciting response for Black to e4? What about d4?
I prefer a strong center and a solid postion without weakenesses. Am I asking for too much?
I consider myself more of a positiaonal player than a tactical player. The idea would be play into the endgame. I hope to focus on the endgame!
