1.e4 e5 2. Nc6 Nf3 3. Bb5 Na5....Pollocks...exactly..what is best line to take as white.....there is a trap I think ...maybe if 4. Nxe5 then ..Qb5 any advice. thanks

I think that the statistic from chessgames.com opening explorer says it all.

Only one game, Lasker vs. Pollock.

 

So, is it worth trying?

Well, the defense doesn't lose by force (but the players who played it were very weak :)) ). It might be interesting!

Certainly doesn't lose by force but i don't like B game at all. He is often forced to play passive pawn moves to save the knight. I play the black side of the ruy but i don't think i will ever play this as a surprise weapon. I like Lasker treatment a lot, very logical.
