The real Icelandic Gambit goes like this:
With the crucial difference that after dxe6 Bxe6 the White pawn on c4 not only blocks the scope of the f1-bishop but also leaves a hole on d4 Black can seek to exploit in return for that pawn. Black also has two pieces out and White has none.
