Staff! Suggestion for openings

Sort:
Pelayo_Vial

Dear chess.com staff:

It might be very useful if in the book openings there was an explanation for every one of the first moves of each opening. This could be a big task, but can be done little by little. If there is such feature please let me know and pardon my ignorance.

I think this would prove very useful for begginers and people that just plays the openings by memory.

Than you!

Anyway moves don't necessarily mean only one thing, so it's Sisyphean.

Lol, I knew this could come out wrong, but lest think big. As premium members can tag exercises at tactics trainer, there could be a sistem were we can all help out. Anyway Im talking about the most classical openings and not all the variation or whatsoever, just the first moves.

Btw, Im still waiting for my coffee estragon :D

anyway, Im a begginer and it was just an idea, no need for bullying! lol

Okay, let's take a classical opening-Ruy Lopez. And now let's examine the first four moves.

1.e4 e5

2.Nf3 Nc6

Look, if you need help understanding the above, then I suggest you stop playing blindfold simul chess.

HELLTANK What is wrong with blindfold chess?

In another forum post you said to several posters:

QUOTE:

There's no need to be so rude. I've been playing chess for barely a month. Whatever.

If you say it sucks, it does.

Okay, I'll just stick to my book openings.

PELAYO VIAL, from Chile is just learning also.

George Koltanowski played blindfold chess and he was a champion. He played many simul games.

He always said, "I can see the moves easier and better when I played blindfolded."

He also was a proponent, and promoter of the Colle sytem when the inventor died. Try looking him up. You might learn something about the Colle system.

helltank, those are the first two moves. If you're going to play the internet bully at least try to know of what you're talking about.

For the rest of you who actually understood what I was talking about, I get that  is really an enourmus task. Maybe I didnt think saw it that big at first.

Thanks to all who really contributed with something, ill better go and use the material you gave me.
