Study on the Sicilian Nyezhmetdinov-Rossolimo Attack

Its knowledge to know that the Sicilian is one of the most played openings at master level. Especially the 2.Nc6 move from Black after 1. e4 c5 2.Nf3 and Nc6, in which white has a few replies, such as the most common d4, but the other less common move is Bb5. Garry Kasparov has played this more than a few times and has had some success with it also, prefferably in simuls.

Just going to look into an interesting game played in the mid 1950's.

Black was playing a bit too ambitious and hoping for something that wasn;t going to come.

A really interesting move was by Juan Manell in 1970, but he ended up getting crushed in just 14 moves!!!

Its clear than b6 is a blunder.
Heres another game in which Black came out victorious, where white castled Queenside and Black managed to pull out a win.
The Nyezhmetdinov-Rossolimo Attack is a fast development opening, in which White thrives on Development and Black aims for kingside saftey and counterplay in the centre.
I should be posting more parts on this and more games as Black, and even some puzzles on the theory.
Thanks for reading !
