Its like a reversed Budapest :)
tennison

Not quite. White is more overextended with a pawn on c4. I think this fact hurts White in this situation

Some annotation to go with the moves would have been useful, so new players to the opening could understand the thoughts behind the development of the pieces.

In this particular line, Badea gives back the pawn right away, but prepares to develop his bishops with ...e5 and then drives white's knight off to g3 with ...f5. He gains a strong pawn centre, so he can hold off on castling, and develop his own attack instead.

In my Budapest Gambit days, I also played the Zukertort (Tennison) Gambit. Slightly inferior to the Budapest gambit due to the "safe" pawn on c7. (The Bogo check doesn't work anymore.) Play is otherwise very similar to the Budapest Gambit.
The idea behind the Tennison, my fav opening, is to attack the king right on the spot with everything you have, if black holds strong then you'll probably lose, but if he is thrown off his game and blunders, its all yours!

KillaBeez is right and rigamagician`s post is NOT a refutation. You can read more about this opening on Eric Schiller`s website. It is not very good but still playable. It wont ''destroy everyone'' but it is worth trying in a blitz game for some fun. C`mon ChessIsBoring, be serious when you post a message but I understand that you may have gotten carried away when you beat a 1500 player! ha
The Tennison gambit!! I dont see why people think this is such a horrible gambit/opening - If you can play it right you will destroy everyone! Here is a game to see the gambit played by me. Could black have gotten out of this somehow?? This is the greatest gambit!!!!!!!
