Has to be between e4, d4, and Nf3. If I had to choose one, though, e4 is my favorite opening as white.

1.d4 is only move where White get control over 3 squares in the center (if we define the center as c4, d4, e4, f4, c5, d5, e5 and f5)..
d4 score a couple percent higher overall, and I would argue IT is stronger because it's sooooo freakin' hard to SOUNLY gambit against d4. i STILL can't figure a repertoire out!
i despise the stonewall straight jacket
the albin requires a complete repertoire to play
and I can't stand fianchettos in an corner of the board and to fight d4 you gotta fianchetto, so it's an almost no win situation for me. I can win with the stonewall, but I hate it. i want tactics!
you can't really open the center up against d4 either. it annoys me way more than facing e4.
