Nothing, sacrifice the guy who used KID to the Gods, and now he can't use KID ![]()
The KID defense
My favorite way to play against it is with the Bayonet attack and going for a quick c5, creating pawn weaknesses in the process
Although probably not theoretically correct, I've had good results in the past against strong players with some sort of Ba3 and ne1 -> nd3 maneuver to support c5. Once the you exchange on d6 or black takes on c5, play your rooks to the c file and play chess from there

Wasn’t this just supposed to be a normal conversation about attacking against the kid defense
Yes and someone messed it up. Anyways, the suggestions are good
Does any of you know how to beat the KID defense? Is it best to sacrifice a bishop for a horse?
