White is not losing by any but Black is probably already equal with the simple d5 or e5.
However I remember getting crushed by a FM on bullet which played 1.a4 2.Ra3 and 3.Rg3

Yeah. I know fast time controls are worthless, but whenever I see 1.a4 that match flashbacks my mind.
