Good luck memorizing all the variations
Let me guess.. You autopilot the london system, play the scandi, and autopilot the Kings Indian.

Any Franco-Sicilian players?
It is, and likely always will be, my favorite opening.
I play Franco-Sicilian
I actually sat down with an MCO 15 and attempted to count all the various main and sub variations following 1.e4,c5. I found 16 main variations and 66 or 68 sub variations. I don't know if that holds true. there could obviously be more since I only cited one source the MCO 15.
Any Franco-Sicilian players?
Nope, there aren't any. Because there is no such thing as the Franco-Sicilian.

Just because you read the name 'Franco-Sicilian' from some database does not make it real. Chess.com loves coming up with dumb names for openings that don't exist.
E.g. they call 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 the 'king's knight opening'
From the solid "A position of Strength!" Sicilians, the scheveningen, kan, and taimanov jump at me. Aiming to create the smallest possible amount of weaknesses in our position by aiming to play d6 and in the future d5, a instant equaliser, Those siccilians have my respect. e5 is also a possibility but it creates a weakness on f5, d6, d5, And it's just not great.
I knew I was missing a lot about this position. Here is so-called the list I've collated. I hope you enjoy it.
