Events:
New event (until end of the game) "Toroidal Universe" The board basically becomes a huge torus (or sphere), not infinite, but can expand infinitely to account for anyone's huge moves. If you make a huge move you can either decide for the torus to expand to fit your move, or you can choose for it to not and you just continue to slide and wrap around the board until you appear on the other side on the same rank/file/diagonal!
Turn 30-43 "Tanks" Pieces are not forced to stop moving upon capturing another piece, they can now continue to slide/keep moving along the same path after the capture. They cannot capture 2 pieces in 1 move.
Pieces that can be captured (with no risk of dodging) have the black triangles in the corners. Piece movements are now visible if off the board. Pieces that have just been dropped have a shape around them too.
Given the toroidal universe this cannot be 100% ensured. It's up to each player to think of the consequences of this event and if I don't put a capturable sign when there should be one do mention it when capturing it. I will not be trying to see what captures are possible.

So in theory the plan was to go to a move every 2 days so people could strategise in the final rounds. I don't feel like this is necessary but maybe I might be wrong. Thoughts?

Tony's queen should not be capturable, as at the time he submitted his move Samuel's dragon was still disabled and thus not covering that square yet.

Tony's queen should not be capturable, as at the time he submitted his move Samuel's dragon was still disabled and thus not covering that square yet.
But it was a only disabled for the previous move. It was covering the square for the update Tony was placing the piece on. Like if you move a piece to a protect a piece, if someone takes that piece in the next update you become capturable.

Link to positional examples. Read pictures 27 & 28. Capturing an unprotected piece at the same time it is defended cannot be held against the attacker, (How must they know that it will be protected next update? the other player could have submitted a pm'd move or just not moved yet) thus their piece will not be capturable. All of us have to pre-defend our pieces.
Same rules apply for moving to an open square at the same time it's covered, they can't be expected to know it would be covered and thus not punished by becoming capturable.
I can see how though it may seem that Tony's queen should become capturable, as he absolutely knew 100% it was going to be covered the next update.
The same-time-move rule makes it only possible to play what's visibly legal on the current board state, we cannot make a capture based on what the board will look like after the update. Applying the same rules: pieces should not become capturable based on what will be attacking them NEXT update, only on what is visible on the board THIS update. After update 39, the board visibly showed that the square was not covered (because the dragon was disabled), thus generating any piece shouldn't cause it to become capturable. (A case of moving to a square at the same time it's covered) This is why generating new pieces was nerfed, to give the targets an extra move to react. I hope that makes sense...
This is your game though and you can decide. This is just how I would run NEISG mechanics- Tony's queen would not become capturable, but if he wants to avoid being captured he'd have to "dodge", Samuel could submit a conditional.

OK. I won't change the rule mid game so the piece isn't automatically capturable.
But if based on the previous you know the square will be covered I do think the piece should be capturable. After all the defender rule is based on the idea that the piece is uncapturable because the covered square is unpredictable.

Given that this was supposed to be a 2 day move and some active player haven't submitted a move I will wait until tomorrow.
But this is the only 2 day move. Every other move will be 24 hours (plus the time I need to get it done)
im, so confused, the brown king is still on the board even though i have captured it already. If i can still take it, Qx 12,34. If not, +P (-7289395732845964354968572399066,5)
