It seems to me that events are double-edged swords. If you start one too late, it can mess up your entire position. However, starting one early hardly provides an advantage at all.
Good point. But we are many, thinking many different ways, and so we get into "elections" in deciding the best move, or Event, to make.
Martin only has to convince himself of his move to make. He plays a "tailored" game compared to us. That is his secret weapon.
