Variant request: shogi piece capture and redeploy

First time posting so if this is in the wrong place let me know

In shogi when you capture your opponent's piece, on your next turn or any turn after you can put that piece back on the board and use it like any of your other pieces.  
Ive played this variant with chess pieces over the board (pre covid) and its such a fun, tricky and quick-paced variant to play with chess pieces.
its like scientists vs zombies - if a zombie attacks a scientist they turn into a zombie but if a scientist attacks a zombie they can turn them back into a human.  

we have played with the following rules before:
1, Placing a piece on the board cannot give an immediate check / mate
2, pawns cant be placed on the 8th rank (if you are white) or 1st rank (if you are black) to promote.  but for lols you can put them on the home rank.  fun for blocking pesky imediate back rank mates
3, you CAN place a piece to block a check
4, if you capture a promoted piece you can drop it as a promoted piece

5,optional rule:  you can "wound" your pieces by attacking your own pieces.  you can then drop that wounded piece once its "healed" anywhere on the board the next turn.
