I have played 960 and bughouse OTB.
Chess Variants
As a junior player I have tried many different chessvariants on physical chessboards but most of them only one or two times.
Bughouse chess I have played once in while. I have actually never played Bughouse on the internet.
You can play it on https://en.lichess.org/

It's really very spectacular & impressive!

Wow, an interesting chess variant I haven't seen before. It's interesting to see this type of chess variant played on an physical chessboard, only except it has more rows and columns.
Chess is not dead. Like the moves on the board, the rules and board and pieces of chess are dynamic. Perhaps (hopefully!?) "Chess960" or another "variant" will overtake "Standard Chess" in popularity in the not too distant future---and memorizing specific opening lines will not be nearly as important as learning the larger principles of the game.
You said it exactly right man.
I was wondering if you played a chess variant (chess960, crazyhouse, king of the hill, 3+check) that isn't on chess.com or on any other chess website. I mean, you actually played one of these types of chess variants on an actual chess board and not on a device. I haven't watched chess variants played on an actual chess board, only regular chess games played according to the regular rules.
