Event Chess Game (togepi2468 - HorribleTomato)

Sort:

This is an event chess game between @togepi2468 (white) and @HorribleTomato (black).

Game rules:

Game starts like a normal chess game with 2 additional rules:

  1. Each player may once/game start an event during his turn before making a move (Just say "start event").
  2. A player may not capture more than 2 pieces that are not pawns before starting an event (This is to make sure both players need to start an event).

Note that each player starting one event means a game will become a combination of 2 events.

Other rules of this game are identical with rules of classical chess.

When an event starts it will be chosen randomly from over 100 events and consists of some sort of rule changes to the game. More about event chess can be read here.

@togepi2468 will play white. Good luck!

Event #10 Fortress

As a move, a pawn can move from any square to an empty square next to an allied king. A pawn can be put on the first rank this way. If a pawn reaches a promotion square this way, then the pawn will promote. Pawns on the first or second rank can move up to 2 squares forward regardless if they have previously moved or not.

Example 1:

White plays pawn h2-f1

Example 2:

White plays g3-c8=Q+

Time control is 3 days/move. After 3 days a time warning can be made when a player has 24 hours left before loosing on time. It may sometimes take more than 3 days for me to start an event, however.

@togepi2468, you should decide which move to make after learning the rules of the event. Otherwise, you won't even know if your move is legal. In this case it it though, do you still want to play e4 after learning the rules?

Also, are the rules clear?
