My piece: Speedy Pawn
7 of them, all on the 3rd rank. They move 1 square on the first turn and two afterwards. Worth 2 points.
My piece: Speedy Pawn

The Castle: Moves like a Queen but NOT diagonally. It will replace the rook on the a- and h- ranks.
The Horse: Can move in an L-shape (1 square right, left, up, or down, then 2 squares in an orthogonal direction from the 1-square move). Can move regardless of any pieces in its path. Replaces the knight.
"The destructor!" kills every piece within the bottom 3 ranks and then goes into the box. Worth 6 points
The prince, worth about 4 points, moves the same as a king. Also, if there is a bishop directly adjacent (not diagonally) to the priest, the two pieces can switch places. This move is known as priesting. The prince cannot priest into an attack, but can priest out of one.
My piece: Homing Device (invented by my cousin; he says he moves one square at a time like the king, but when it is in line with another piece like itself, it can move directly towards it like a rook)
My Piece: The Ghost; It can move exactly two squares any direction (passing through other pieces if necessary - as if it were a ghost) but "disappears" whenever it takes an opposing piece (or is taken) and is removed from the game.
The umbrella. It occupies d3, e3, d6, and e6.
(This would be the standard version.)
It cannot be moved and can only be captured by your opponent or yourself.
Other variants might see both opponents with the option of placing their two umbrellas anywhere on their side of the board.
Thus, their own initial formation.
Since the umbrella can't be moved, and can even be captured by it's owner, it doesn't really hold any points. But, it's value and usefulness can change drastically depending on the position.
😆😬
my piece - jester - has the ability to dance around a piece , making it confused : IT BLOCKS A PIECE'S VIEW .Can't be captured and cannot capture other pieces.
Piece: Arbiter
Can become invisible to foes and capture them still.
Moves like a rook mixed with a bishop.
Points: 10.
Also the Judge.
It has the ability to change into any piece, and if you have 2 judges or more on the board, you can revive a piece by putting that piece back and removing that judge from the board.
It moves like a queen mixed with a pawn, but cannot be promoted.
Points: Regular (when in play), is 1. When switching, the judge takes the value of the switched piece. Can't be switched into an Arbiter.
The Giant. Replaces the rook on a1, if a piece is attacking the giant one square away any direction it can take it and both pieces go off the board. 4 points. Then on h1, there is a minion, it can jump over one piece, so it is like a lower case l. Special Move: when it jumps over the piece no matter what color, the piece that it jumps over is captured.
My piece: Servant
Can only move 1 square sideways within the 3rd rank where it starts. Worth 1 point.
