king vs king variant idea

the same rules apply except only the kings can kill each other. So you have to checkmate with your king participating and the opponent king ONLY being able to move into squares your king is controlling What do you think?

So he can move to squares next to your King, and not to squares attacked by your other pieces? What happens when he is in check by a non-King, and cannot move out of it?
