This forum is trash

there is no way any cool discussions of variants will ever happen here. the constant updates on every game thread is destroying conversation. i suggest that you all stick to one thread or continue your games in private. and if you want to show your games off at the end then you can show us all when their over. this forum is absolute trash -_-

I agree. Something need to be done. 

You forget that you can follow discussions, or go back. It might take ~10 seconds less to get to a post if there's no games going on.

the problem is not whether or not i follow a forum, the problem is that any new topic made in the 960 forum gets swamped to the bottom of the page within 12 hours which reduces the amount of people who will see it and comment. within 24 hours a "non gaming" variant discussion will get dropped to the 2nd page which noone checks.

Well, first they look at the games, then they might go somewhere else. But if anyone was interested enough in the variant community, they'd go to the fifteenth page! Anyway, according to you, they go to page two in ~24 hours. But all of the main pages we discuss variants on are commented on ~2 times a day, on average.

I'd say blame the structure of the forum, not their users. I also wish there was a category for forum games (games played on forums). But right now this category is the best fit.

@macer75: how about write something constructive instead of salty obnoxious comments.

Agreed! I'd say that it shouldn't take much effort for the admins to create such a forum!

i love the idee of breaking up the variant playing forum and the general variant discussion into two seperate forums.
