Thanks HTP, but it's probably not worth it. It just makes my diagram become obsolete, so I have to eventually update each move anyway.

I haven't seen aronian play, but I would have thought Tomato should win only because aronian is new to this game.

I won't make a prediction about me vs HTP. But I really want to win because I'd like to play Tug.😈😃

You and Tug just played for the right to challenge World Champion Naviary (congratulations to @captaintugwash for the win). In that game I gave Tug a slight privilege (playing White), because he had a draw by agreement against Naviary, when Naviary decided to go on his mission.

Tug can now challenge Naviary, but I presume Naviary will not be here to play. (he is currently travelling in Canada, and plans to return to these forums but not for several months I believe). I will contact him to confirm if he plans to defend his title or not.

After that, the current 8-person tournament will decide who can make the next challenge. (players include: @ChessNerd1836, @captaintugwash, @hitthepin, @vickalan, @gamebooker14, @gyrados06, @aronian22, @HorribleTomato).

It's possible that the tournament winner will also be the World Champion, which would demonstrate strong dominance. Otherwise, the tournament winner challenges the WC.

These games can take a long time, so I predict that the next challenge will not happen until many months from now.

I think this is a fair system, but let me know if anything doesn't sound equitable.

Btw, the World Champion Title has cycled as follows:

(1) SuperSam1 (first World Champion)
(2) Naviary defeats SuperSam1. (becomes new World Champion)
(3) Tug challenges Naviary. Result: "Draw by agreement".
Naviary remains World Champion.
(4) Tug again qualifies to challenge Naviary (Final game Tug vs Gyrados here). I'm checking if Naviary can return to play.
(5) The 2020 8-player tournament (now starting) decides the next cycle.
