Thank you @fhunfi!
If you search for active community to practice classical slow time control 90m+30s/45m+45s/60m+30s
90 + 30 is a great chance to enjoy real, classical chess, not a game of who blunders less. Great job, Chien! Thanks for all the effort you put in in making it work so well

For all you chess players who want to improve, and play more slow games.........This is the place! Chien (fhunfi) does a masterful job here, setting up and coordinating all these games....all on a volunteer basis. He is to be commended for all this extra work. I really enjoy the slow games......it gives me a chance to learn, do my best, and then analyze afterward. Chess is a game where you win, or you learn. Chien gives us a chance to do both. Thank you my friend. Gordon

For you who search for sustainable and dedicated organized tourney,
you will find the right place here.
Thank you so much for promoting and implementing this classical format. Relocated, due to retirement, far away from any major chess centers, commuting to OTB events is no longer a practical option. This makes it possible without having to navigate travel, traffic, or hotels.
Thanks again, fhunfi, for organising these various tournaments. It's a great service to the community appriciated by many.
Very friendly club (tournament director and players) - dedicated to offering long time controls in a variety of formats. Good way to get better at chess
I am fanatic on participating and greatly enjoying playing in these tours !!! A BIG THANK for all your effort !!

"Much thanks to you fhunfi for the terrific job you do on making these tournaments
available to all of us foot soldiers."
@Fhunfi Thank you for running great tournaments with slower time controls akin to Classical. In my case, I don't have the stamina for four rounds of back-to-back chess in an OTB chess tournament. Also, finding opponents who play these slow time controls online is more difficult. This is a fantastic solution! Thank you!
This club is very good for people who like slow time controls, because this is one of the only clubs that do tournaments that have longer time controls than 10 min!
This is an opportunity to do so and you find the right community at:
* 90m+30s club https://www.chess.com/club/90m-30s The club for players at chess.com who would like to practice and feel the atmosphere of the Classical 90m+30s time control game.
