I have played in many of the 90/60 tournaments. It is a great place to practice classical chess on the internet. They also host 45/45 tournaments. fhunfi (Chien) is the driving force behind these tournaments and he does a wonderful job of managing them.
Active club to practice classical slow time control 90m+30s/45m+45s/60m+30s in Swiss tourney

fhunfi is a great Chess Teacher and even a better person. Check out his 90 30 Tourney (getting ready to start on August 5th). Go to: http://www.90m30s.org/
Great organization and excellent pace! It's rare to find someone hosting online tournaments for Classical. I was looking for someone to organize Classical tournaments, and I came across Mister Fhunfi. Congratulations on putting together this kind of tournament!

How will this club change with the addition of a classical rating on chess.com in the future? I believe that was announced somewhere

This club is very good for people who like slow time controls, because this is one of the only clubs that do tournaments that have longer time controls than 10 min!

@fhunfi - Thank you so much for organizing and running these long time control tournaments. This is the first one I have participated in (G90; d30) and have been extremely pleased with how will the tournament is organized and run. I've had several questions which you have promptly answered and help me get used to setting up and playing on Chess.com. GREAT tournament, well done. I looking forward to the continuing to play in this one G90; d30 and the G45; d45 league you have organized also. THANK YOU.
Just finished my first game in first tourney with this nice slow time control.
The club is very well organized by fhunfi (Chien) !
The time control enabled me to play over the board instead of staring at a computer monitor, and I felt like playing chess the way it was intended. I'm looking forward to more tournaments and games.

The Swiss league in our 90m+30s club is added on Dan Heisman's page

Swiss 60m+30s had started
It is a companion to successful Swiss 90m+30s and 45m+45s
with longer timeframe to negotiate and play the game (a month)and with more numbers of round (Total 12 Rounds / 12 months / a year duration).
The duration of a 60m+30s game is about the same with 45m+30s, where the game can be as long as 2 - 3 hours if both sides used all time on the clock plus added increment.
Hopefully this not-tight-schedule (a month to negotiate & find time to play one game) will make it easy for anyone that has joined the currently running 45m+45s or 90m+30s tourney.
It has no less than 52 players playing in Rd-1
and might still accept players who Late-join for Rd-2

Chien has created many great tournaments for players seeking longer time controls. Rounds are 2 weeks apart which offers a lot of flexibility in scheduling. Highly recommend checking these out! He also provides great lessons that will surely strengthen your game. I've been a student for a long time and look forward to each lesson!
Thanks Chien!

I played 45 45 team tournaments on ICC for years and really liked the time control and the comaraderie. That ended with the new ICC, which doesn't support the team play. A lot of us migrated to chess.com, along with Chien, the creator of these longer tournaments on chess.com (45 45, 60 30, 90 30). It's become my new home for chess, and I see a lot of the same opponents and team members that I used to on ICC. Scott (Reykjaviking), La Honda, CA USA
I think we are lucky to be able to count on a teacher and chess lover such as fhundi to organize classical tournaments. Without him, at a moment when the emphasis is overwhelmingly on blitz and bullet games, the 90/30 Club fills a need and reminds us of the way chess was meant to be practiced. Don't wait any more.
