Withdraw from Team Match against lesser rated opponent?

I've signed up for a team match that will start on July 15th. As of now the opponent I'm matched against is one rated more than 600 points below me. Although a win for him is not impossible, most likely I'll have an easy victory. My question is would it be more sporting for me to withdraw from the match so he would have an opponent rated more closely to his own abilities? But playing higher rated players can be a learning experience,  maybe being crushed by my tactics might actually benefit my opponent. Of course with the match still 6 days away a higher rated player may join the game and I could find myself facing someone equal or even vastly superior.
