Some players may behave this way simply for the reaction. They may derive enjoyment from seeing others get upset or defensive.

every rating group of players do this. 1200's do it to 800s, 1600s do it to 1200s, 2000's do it to 1600's and 2400's do it to 2000's.
Its part of human ego. if you've improved in something to a level greater than another group of people, u naturally see urself as superior so u see it as normal to make fun of them.
People at all ratings do it.

Do not worry 1400 players are insulting me. I am so weak for being chess.com 2000 someone who played very long, they attack. But I found out this particular 1400 chess.com was also playing for so long already and even coaching kids.
Trolling is allowed in the forums. Chompy boy is the living proof for that.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Still confused what you're accusing me of but it sounds like you may be challenging me to a best out of 31 bullet match yet you won't play.
As I tell you every time, happy to play said match OTB, though would rather do blitz as bullet otb is pretty stupid.
