don't be a jerk, he did what he had to do to get the cheaters/hackers attention. and besides, who wants a person who is a whiney brat to be on chess.com? if anything, they should be on chess kid.com.

Erik, you should have set it up so that 95% of his games really were vs a strong engine!

Then he would quickly discover that finding a knight fork any 1000 rated player could find is not cheating. He would find out that when you play bullet vs an engine for real, you're completely lost in less than 20 moves.

That would be hilarious... but understandable why you wouldn't do this.

1 Site owner and OP
2 The percentage of past opponents TacticalTrickyKnight claimed were an engine
3 TacticalTrickyKnight
4 A tactical theme where you threaten to capture two (or more) pieces with one move.
5 Bad players often whine that finding simple tactics are evidence of cheating.
6 Bullet is a category of time controls that are faster than blitz (typically only 1 or 2 minutes for each player), and the time control TacticalTrickyKnight plays most often.

quite an interesting idea. cc finds out one is cheating. routes all seeks from that member to games against engines.

the cheat might end up quitting after the frustration of not getting an inflated rating (and ego).

Lol I might have caused erik the bet if I played more games with him surprise.png lol I think he may have called me a cheater but... I mean just look at how he plays... https://www.chess.com/live/game/2348909016

EDIT: My rating is finally where it is normally... #notsandbagging #slumpsarereal

AlCzervik

OK, let me splain. 1st, some background. To catch a cheater you need to use a complicated cheat method system of comparing ratings, analysis of games, frequency of moves, engine responces, etc, etc. OR you can just do like Erik did and let people blab their mouth off. Sometimes the obvious IS the answer. In the movie "Jaws", an idylic beach town on Martha's Vineyard and a movie that I'm assuming "The Pianist" is probably too young to have seen. Everyone is oblivious to the obvious. The're all like; maybe she got drunk and she'll show up in a couple of days, or maybe it was some kind of boating accident, or maybe etc, etc. That's why its such a famous movie line.  "And now you know,   the rest of the story".

Jaws was my time... I just don't pay much attention to pop culture lol. Thanks for the explanation though.
