It's funny that religious nuts can yabber away for pages on this site, but as soon as someone dares to put another point of view across it's garanteed the thread will be locked.

Usually it is about tempers or the probability of raising them. When the US health care law passed there was like a ten page discussion that went on about it, it was left up because most people were at least marginally civil. Eventually it did have to be locked though. Likewise, the title and first post is somewhat ambiguous and all-encompassing whereas some people post very assertive and narrow-minded religious declarations which get into trouble.

Yes, I suppose you're right. I guess my perception was coloured by another thread where someone was shoving Christianity down my throat, which the mods deemed fine until someone else stepped in with another view.

that happens? Most of the time its the other way around for me

I've noticed that people often seem to be offended by your username.

if you don't like the topic then don't read it. Also, I hope there is chess in the afterlife.

But in many cases to find out if one likes the topic or not they have to read it in the first place. Although I never said I didn't like it anyway.

Korchnoi believes he played a match with the deceased Maróczy.  Obviously, it was a correspondence match. Cool Here's a link... http://whitecrowbooks.com/michaeltymn/entry/chess_game_offers_strong_evidence_for_life_after_death

There was a zombie chess thread once upon a time on chess.com:

After all, it was fun, as Hrafntinna said, to play a game that had no illusions of being fair.

this is a deliberately unbalanced game, bringing the horror genre to the game

This may not change the game play much, but the close proximity may create a sort of psychological panic.

As would the close proximity of zombies. Laughing
