Whatever it is you are taking, give me some of it i want to free my mind too form this thread.
Any possibility of chess in the afterlife?any ideas?suggestions?
In the horror genre I saw "House" for a halloween showing once. It was the best worst movie ever. It was deliciously horrible.
Ugh, why do people keep saying this...
House is genuinely brilliant, not inadvertently. Its intoxication with the expressive range of the cinema is Vertovian in scope, but a million times more entertaining. And underneath the giddy application of creative tools (and multiple creations of new ones, I might add) is a delightfully perverse meditation on high school girls and a life track that leads towards total domestication.
Y'all hipsters saw the trailer and thought you knew what was up, and you ended up missing what it actually was. I know this because I went in with the exact same expectations only to be delightfully ashamed of myself after.
This ain't The Room we're talking about.
What if you won (chess) with God and you could bring (to heaven) anyone of your choosing. That's a scary thought.
Play it against houdini or even fritz,in 6moves your position wud b worse!kon stil dont knw how u mean?
KG's not refuted. It takes a free mind (not to mention an open one) to think about what Changu's talking about. Silly to think we know everything or that everything there is can be known through our five senses

Yeah. But if he does win i hope he doesnt pick one of us.
For those who don't know, here is the trailer to House: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN0HVJ5tkIM
Fans of the surreal ought to watch
KG's a highly tactical opening so it's not hard to believe a human player with white would be in a worse position after six moves against a computer.
The true test is to set the position at 1) e4,...e5 2) f4 and then have two computers of comparable strength play from that position against each other

Yeah. But if he does win i hope he doesnt pick one of us.
He could pick (to go to heaven) a relative, lucky for me mine are all cool!
I once read an obit about Tal, something like:
Misha is sitting opposite God, playing chess, and winning...
Winnin against God,impossible!his omniscient.ya i guess the truest test 4 the KG wud b 2 let the 2supercomputers play.okay i guess the KG isnt 100percent refuted,yet!

You don't have a smiley face so you must be serious.
I am serious. The scope of invention and sense of play in that movie is spectacular, and it's all there by design. It's one of my favourite movies ever, likely in my top ten.
It's not awful in any way. Being bizarre does not make something awful; nobody suggests Un chien andalou is unintentionally funny just because it's strange.
As full disclosure, I'm generally against the "so good it's bad" formula as it is, seeing as it usually uses standard Western aesthetics in judging what is good or bad; it is blind to the possibility of new and unusual aesthetic creations. No, not blind, just ignorant to their meaning: it sees them, but it can't know what they are. House is a perfect example, and I defy you to name one movie that packs in more creative experimentation than it.
And to refer to another example I quoted, The Room is legitimately a bad movie, but it's to the point that categories such as good and bad can only be applied frivolously, since in its own strange bubble it is sincere and it is wonderful.

Brother kon how do u mean?andy luv your accent 2.i said WITH ACCURATE PLAY THE KG has bin refuted.so yeah!
