I haven't noticed a difference yet, but maybe my connection is still pointing to the old servers. I'll let you know if I notice an improvement. Thanks for investing in the new server!
On the plus side, I've just upgraded to Firefox 3 (Beta 4) on my laptop and it's noticably quicker for most websites, including Chess.com (my PC is still running Firefox 2).

It's always been fast and responsive for me - and still is
Thanks Erik & Co. I have not been disconnected whilst playing blitz for a while, this seems to have solved my only gripe with the site.

I have not noticed a difference but mine has always loaded almost instantly so there was never much room for improvement!
I have noticed that the site is loading much faster Erik. Thanks to the Chess.com team on the good work!
well......its nice to play opponents thats is thousand of KM away.
Don't know what is wrong tonight, but the site is like treacle for me. Earlier this afternoon it was fine, but as soon as it hit 9pm (UK time) this site has went to sleep. Can't even load a game without the page timing out.
Took about 5 minutes to load this forum page on a broadband connection.
Just in case it's a new problem, you may want to check out with your UK hosts.
Currently extremely slow
