Blocked users

i wish AWARD_CHESS would tell how many he/she has blocked.  i know i'm on the list.

So am I 

 I can't tell by the ADK method of checking page, but I don't see why I would be.

There is a fool proof way of checking ... go to any of his blogs / forum posts that he has created and if you cannot find the comment box at the bottom of the page then you are blocked

BTW, yes, the person who said to "see a doctor" and blocked me was non other than AWARDCHESS. LOL There should be a group for people blocked by him and it would be like the whole site. I didn't even do anything to him either. LOL

I always thought "undead zombie" myself. (He's one of my few blocks...something about rambling, incoherent, self-promoting posts.)

I think the idea here is to collect anonymous data - avoiding focussing on particular individuals.

I can't see a way of finiding if he blocked me. All his blog posts are for his friends only so I can't see if the comment box is missing.

Eight blocked in four months, although upon checking I discovered that three now have closed accounts. Disconnecting in a losing position or profanity during a LiveChess game will get you blocked, first time of asking.

Oh, and one young man, famous for his "drive by" posting style, just on principle.

i'm not sure i catch your drift here.  i don't think there is anonymity intended in this thread.  is it anonymous if we are saying how many we have blocked?  if i say i have 2 blocked, then the info is public--everyone can see that i, in fact do have that many blocked. that's public, not anonymous.  saying i want awardchess to say how many she/he has blocked doesn't seem to be any BUT in complete accordance with how this thread was set up.  as for my saying i know i'm blocked by him, i'm again not seeing your point...  how does it hurt anyone for me to say (as others have) that i am blocked by someone?

Nothing wrong with your post. However, as soon as someone gets mentioned by name in a negative way, it's only a short step to others saying: 'he's blocking me too' - and before you know it, you have a witch-hunt on your hands.
